PRESS RELEASE: Information on parking during the Travemünde Week

The 136th Travemünde Week will take place in the Baltic seaside resort from July 18, 2025 to July 27, 2025. This year, visitors will once again have access to numerous parking areas around the event.

The 136th Travemünde Week will take place in the Baltic seaside resort from July 18, 2025 to July 27, 2025. This year, visitors will once again have access to numerous parking areas around the event.

Due to the expected high traffic volume - especially at weekends - we would like to take this opportunity to remind you once again of the possibility of traveling by public transport. Details can be found on the organizers' website at: https://www.travemuender-woche.com/en/festival/your-journey/

If you are traveling by car, you will find a list of the largest available parking facilities below. This year, the new Godewind parking garage will be available for the first time, offering covered and sun-protected parking spaces close to the festival mile:

  • Godewind parking garage: 253 parking spaces
    In the street Am Fahrenberg 2 a; barrier-free; cash and card payment. The hourly price is 2.00€, the day ticket costs 8.00€.
  • Leuchtenfeld parking lot: 350 parking spaces
    Approx. 350 of the total 750 spaces in the central Leuchtenfeld parking lot will be available as public parking spaces during the event. In order to increase the parking frequency and relieve the traffic situation in this area, a day ticket will not be offered in this area during the Travemünde Week. The hourly charge is € 3.00. Charging is compulsory from 10:00 to 22:00. The parking lot is closed to campervans and buses from 17.07.2025 to 30.07.2025.
  • Parking lot Am Fischereihafen: 400 parking spaces
    Accessible via “Travemünder Landstraße”; subject to charges from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The charges for the parking spaces are 1.60€ per 30 minutes, the daypass costs 12.00€.
  • Kowitzberg parking lot: 450 parking spaces
    Free parking lot, approx. 15-20 minutes' walk from the festival mile.
  • Additional free parking spaces will be available from Friday, approx. 1 p.m. to Sunday in the street “Am Dreilingsberg” at the entrance to Travemünde. The walk to the main events of the Travemünde Week takes about 15 to 20 minutes from there.

The Möwenstein parking lot will be closed by the organizer for the Travemünde Week from 16.07.2025 to 27.07.2025.

Payment via smartphone parking is possible at all parking spaces mentioned.
